QNEXIS CHOSEN AS ONE OF THREE WINNERS OF MOST VALUED ASIAN AMERICAN BUSINESS AWARD FROM USPAACC

RESTON, VA. / June 21, 2017 – The U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) chose Qnexis Inc. as one of three winners of the Most Valued Asian American Business Award for 2017.

The award was presented at a gala dinner on May 31 in San Diego at USPAACC’s annual CelebrAsian conference, bringing together over 700 executives from leading Asian American firms, Fortune 500 companies and federal government agencies. Headquartered in Washington, DC, USPAACC is a national non-profit organization that promotes economic growth for the Asian American and minority business community at the state, local and federal levels.

“The Most Valued Asian American Business Award is bestowed by USPAACC on Asian American-owned businesses that continue to set the bar high and lead by example, create innovative products or services, and prove that hard work, perseverance and a ‘can do’ attitude will always prevail and lead to success,” said Susan Allen, President and CEO of USPAACC.

The award also reflects the significant commitment and steadfast support that Qnexis President and CEO Kurt Nguyen has provided to USPAACC. Nguyen is a member of the Board of Directors of USPAACC. In addition, he serves on the Scholarship Selection Committee and has been supporting Susan Allen and her organization for the past decade in producing great programs such as CelebrAsian.

At this year’s CelebrAsian, Nguyen was pleased to present a $5,000 scholarship to Sahar Fattani. This annual event provides scholarships to talented Asian American students from challenging backgrounds so that they can pursue higher education.

“I am deeply honored that Qnexis was chosen as a recipient of the Most Valued Asian American Business Award,” said Kurt Nguyen of Qnexis. “I congratulate Susan Allen on creating an outstanding organization that is successfully promoting Asian American and minority businesses across the United States. I look forward to continuing my work with USPAACC to leverage the knowledge and experience of its dynamic membership.”
